With any medical imaging device, the monitor is critical. Many customers appreciate the 15-inch LCD monitor that swivels and tilts and can be raised and lowered. The Nemio XG also offers full digital video out options that make it possible to connect to 2 nd LCD monitors in the exam room.

Toshiba's patented iTouch® keyboard allows our sales professionals to customize Scanning Presets and Panel Keys to match physicians scanning preferences. Our Sales Professionals are trained to set up the Nemio with a Scanning Preset and a FNA Preset, as well as measurements and reporting panel keys so that the Nemio is ready to go when the physician turns on the system and, since it is customized for the physician, operates fluidly, literally as an extention of the physician.
T H E P R O B E S
The Nemio XG also features 3 probes of extraordinary clinical value for head and neck ultrasound. All probes are broadband in design - at any given time, multiple frequencies are used during the transmit and receive phases to deliver optimum imaging.
The PLM-1204AT probe is a 32 mm wide probe with selectable center frequencies between 8 to 14 MHz. When in the 14 MHz selection, the probe operates at 12 to 16 MHz due to its broadband frequency design. This means the probe delivers very high resolution for head and neck structures within 2 to 4 centimeters from the surface of the skin.
The PVM-662AT probe is a small footprint, convex arrray probe with a tight radius of curvature that provides fast and accurate visualization of the FNA needle and thus very precise FNA needle guidance. This broadband 6-8 MHz probe has a center frequency selection of of 8 MHz from which it scans at 10 MHz.
The PVF-745 probe is a small footprint convex array probe with higher frequency and a less tight radius of curvature. This broadband 5-10 MHz probe has a center frequency selection of 10 MHz from which it scans at 12 MHz in the near field.
C O N N E C T I V I T Y
Basically, whatever connectivity is required is possible or even standard for Toshiba. If you need basic compatibility with an EMR system, Toshiba makes available images as JPEG files for easy imort into the EMR. For sharing images with Radiology, Toshiba has a full range of options for providing Radiololgy standard DICOM images to a network.
If images are needed simply for a local network, Toshiba has USB ports for easy transferring of images to where they need to go.
The Nemio XG compact floor console system is a full-featured system with Color Doppler with image quality that stands up to Radiology yet is affordable and has excellent ease of use.
